Progressive Advance

The Venezuelan Progressive Advance is a political party in Venezuela that was established to offer an alternative to the country's traditional political dynamics, which have been dominated by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and its allies, who support the socialist policies of Hugo Chávez and his successor, Nicolás Maduro, and the opposition coalition, which has often been fragmented and diverse in its ideologies. Founded by Henri Falcón, a former governor of Lara state and a one-time member of the PSUV who broke away from the party, Progressive Adva…  nce positions itself as a centrist or center-left entity, aiming to bridge the gap between the polarized ends of Venezuela's political spectrum.
