The Venezuelan Movement We Are Venezuela (Movimiento Somos Venezuela) is a political party that emerged from a social movement initiated in 2017. It was founded to support the policies and social missions of the government of Nicolás Maduro, the President of Venezuela, and to further the ideals of the Bolivarian Revolution initiated by Hugo Chávez. The party's creation was announced by Delcy Rodríguez, a prominent figure within the Venezuelan government and a close ally of Maduro, during a rally in Caracas.
